Sherlock Memory Game Review by Diane Wheeler

Playroom Entertainment

We are always looking for games that can be played with our younger children. I have played enough rounds of Candy Land and Shoots and Ladders to want a decent game alternative for the younger crew in our home. Sherlock, a memory card game, is a fun and easy game for two to five players, ages five to adult.

To play, eight cards are placed in a circle, face up. The goal is to memorize the picture on the card. Once each player has a chance to see each picture, the cards are turned face down. The first player starts by choosing a card and identifying the object on the underside of the card. Once the card is turned over, the card has an arrow that gives the direction of play, and a number to determine which is the next card to be identified. The game moves fast and allows each participant a chance to show his or her memory skills.

We enjoy this beginning memory skill game, and our youngest son thinks it is fun to invite his brothers and sisters to play a game at which he can excel. I only wish that my memory was as good as his.
