We Were There on The Oregon Trail recounts the story of Jeffrey Hunt, a 14 year old young man who decides to set out from Independence, Missouri in 1843, to journey to Oregon!

Following in his father's footsteps, who disappeared on this same trip two years earlier, Jeffrey is determined to find his father. This title not only recalls Jeffrey's journey out west, but covers a variety of interesting facts of this time period. Learn about the Oregon Trail, the California Gold Rush, the Railroad, and more!

We Were There on The Oregon Trail makes for a great family read-aloud, or just a great book for the children to enjoy. It would also would make a great addition to any study of this time period.

This is a wonderful read that we thoroughly enjoyed, and we'd highly recommend it! A great addition to the homeschool family library!
