Fresh-from-the-Oven Favorites may be a small cookbook, but it’s a large treasure trove of great recipes for some of the tastiest breads you’ll ever sample!
Written by the sister-brother team of Crystal Paine and Nathaniel Smisor, the comb-bound paperback cookbook is thirty-nine pages long and includes an alphabetical recipe index in the back. In addition to the traditional directions, the authors include special directions for using bread machines. The cookbook is divided into seven categories including:
Crystal (who many know from Biblical Womanhood) and Nathaniel have done an excellent job in choosing recipes and making the steps easy to understand and follow. They are from a large homeschooling family (seven children), so I’m sure they’ve had lots of practice in the kitchen! I have personally tried quite a few of the recipes with delicious results, but I think my favorite was the recipe for Blueberry Cream Muffins. Yum! My family loved them as well.
