FORGOT YOUR DETAILS?

Brownie vs. Blondie

Brownies are a pretty common dessert, but have you heard of blondies? What is the difference between the two? The key difference is cocoa. Brownies are made with cocoa, but blondies (what is also known as the “blonde brownie”) are not. We get the name “blondie” because it has more of a vanilla taste as opposed to its brownie comparison.

Have you ever compared the difference? Why not try now? Kids are excellent dessert judges!

Here are two simple recipes that you can make together.

Investigate!

Here are some things to discuss while you are waiting for them to bake:

  1. What things were the same about the recipes?
  2. What things were different about the recipes?

After the baking is done, write down your discoveries once you’ve tasted them. Ask your kids which is their preference and you could even make a graph (you can find learning anywhere)! Hope over to this post on our Facebook page and let us know which is your favourite!
