The Amazing Grace of Freedom: The Inspiring Faith of William Wilberforce, the Slaves' Champion is a religious and historical biography of William Wilberforce, and much more. It is a beautifully bound hardcover book containing a collection of essays and commentary from a wide range of scholars and ministry leaders. In addition to an exclusive interview with Ken Wales (the producer of Amazing Grace, the movie), the book includes historical paintings, engravings, and documents (many in full-color) on almost every page. Backstage information and making-of-the-movie photographs are also included.

This book reminds me of a "coffee table book"--the kind you are proud to display in your home and enjoy picking up to read from time to time. It is not really the type of book that needs to be read cover-to-cover. This book would be a great resource for anyone wishing to learn more about William Wilberforce, whether for pleasure or for schoolwork.

I certainly learned a lot about this great hero of the faith, and I am pleased to add this book to my home library. Now, I am also eager to see the movie!
