Baked Oatmeal

Ingredients
  

  • 1-1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla or almond extract
  • 1/2 cup dried, fresh or frozen apples, bananas, cranberries, raisins, etc.

Method
 

  1. Mix dry ingredients together, then add wet ingredients
  2. Stir in dried fruit or use fresh or frozen fruit
  3. Scoop into one big dish for baking or put in individual oven-proof dishes (reduce baking time by 5-10 minutes if baking in individual servings)
  4. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F
