Cookie Recipe
Christmas cookies are such a fun tradition! Especially ones you can cut out with a cookie cutter and cover in fun icing! This recipe is easy to make and isn't so sweet you’ll get an instant stomachache!
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup milk of your choice
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- ½ tsp. baking soda
- ½ tsp. vanilla
- 2½ cups flour
Preheat oven to 350°.
Mix the dry ingredients together.
Cream the butter and sugar in a mixer.
Add wet ingredients and dry ingredients together and combine.
Cool for 2+ hours in the fridge.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
Cut out into shapes and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Bake for 7-9 minutes, or until golden. (If you use almond milk, they will be more blonde.)
