Cookie Recipe

Christmas cookies are such a fun tradition! Especially ones you can cut out with a cookie cutter and cover in fun icing! This recipe is easy to make and isn't so sweet you’ll get an instant stomachache!

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup milk of your choice
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. vanilla
  • cups flour

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Mix the dry ingredients together.
  • Cream the butter and sugar in a mixer.
  • Add wet ingredients and dry ingredients together and combine.
  • Cool for 2+ hours in the fridge.
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface.
  • Cut out into shapes and place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 7-9 minutes, or until golden. (If you use almond milk, they will be more blonde.)
  • Let cool before icing! (See below if you need an icing recipe!)
