Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Melt coconut oil over low heat on the stove. Set aside to cool slightly.
Remove the flower petals as described above and shake the petals into a measuring cup to fill to ½ cup.
Mix the oil and sugar together, then add the applesauce or banana and vanilla and mix well.
Stir in the oats, whole wheat flour and dandelion petals.
Place by the tablespoon onto a greased cookie sheet.`
Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown on the edges.
