Visiting the Neighbors

Whether you live in Canada or the United States, you can visit your neighbor without leaving your home. Led by Julie Coney, Everyday Explorers: Canada and Everyday Explorers: USA will take you on an exciting journey of both of these countries as students of all ages study interesting facts and explore historic and natural sites. A different province or territory will be visited in Canada throughout the 11 monthly units. The USA unit will cover each of the 50 states upon completion, but it is currently ongoing. So all 50 states are not available quite yet. Map work is included as distances traveled are calculated and the weather is logged in the different areas. Activities are included for all grade levels so any age student can benefit from this course. Perhaps these supplementary courses will spark enough interest you’ll consider visiting your favorite sites in person. Imagine the learning that can occur and the memories that will be made with a real tour instead of just a virtual one!
