Taking It to the Next Level

Are your students ready to take their learning to the next level? Two of our newest courses on SchoolhouseTeachers.com will allow them to do just that. Algebra 1 with Allena Lee is a full-year course designed for students who have completed pre-algebra and are ready to advance to the next level of math. Beginning with a pre-algebra review, Algebra 1 then moves on to discuss algebraic expressions, solving linear equations, graphing, inequalities, systems of equations, polynomials, factoring, and exponential expressions. It concludes with a final test. Text to teach the concepts, along with practice problems and assignments are included. Answer keys are available, including step-by-step solutions for many problems. Advanced Spanish Fluency with Jason Hood is a course designed for high school students who already have a thorough knowledge of basic Spanish vocabulary and are looking for a challenge that will improve their fluency. It is designed to help the student learn to “think” in Spanish as they transition from learning vocabulary to speaking fluent Spanish as they listen to sixteen simple stories and poems read aloud in Spanish. A full vocabulary guide (and audio pronunciation) of more than 2,000 words is included.
