Feeding Your Baby & Toddler Right is a comprehensive book that teaches you how to properly feed your child from birth, into toddlerhood. The book covers from breastfeeding to bottle-feeding, and all the way up to introducing solids. Also, it goes over proper eating support techniques and their importance. This book comes with a checklist of what to look for before you introduce something new. This ensures your child is in the right developmental stage for new food types. This book can be found on Amazon for around ten dollars.

This is the perfect book to read before having a child in order to prepare for properly breastfeeding and/or bottle-feeding. However, it is great read for any parent! I used it as I was transitioning my almost one-year-old from breastfeeding, to eating solids as her main source of nutrition. This book covers ages from birth through the toddler stage.

I thought this book was a well written, comprehensive outline of how to feed your child. Especially as a new parent the thought of introducing solids really scared me. I didn’t know where to begin! This book helped me through that fear and guided me in the right direction. The checklist was also a great aspect of the book and the illustrations of what to look for were fantastic. I could not find any negative aspects of this book, though there were parts that did not apply to us. However, I’m sure that other parents will find those sections extremely helpful.

Overall, this book is fantastic. It helped us discover the right kinds of food for our baby girl. She now loves food and is developing strong eating habits. I would recommend this to new parents, or as a baby shower gift!
