What’s New in the Tinkers Club

/ / Blog, Schoolhouse Teachers

According to the World English Dictionary, tinker means to play, fiddle, or meddle (with machinery, etc.), especially while undertaking repairs. I can’t think of a better description for Ed Sobey’s Tinkers Club on SchoolhouseTechers.com! Last month, Ed challenged us to explore the “junk” that is being thrown away all around us, take it apart, and see what we learned. This month, our goal is to build a basic car that we can push across the floor or roll down an inclined ramp. Next month we’ll get to add electric motors! Come along, and don’t be afraid to share what you’ve invented with the other students!
