What’s New in Lapbooking and Writing

/ / Blog, Schoolhouse Teachers

This week in Niki Coburn McNeil’s Lapbooking class, we move from a literary-focused unit on The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connell to a new unit all about the human eye. You can use the unit as an introduction to this fascinating piece of anatomy for younger students or as a springboard for deeper study with your older students. Either way, you’re likely to end the study with a new sense of amazement at the wonders God has made.

Don’t miss an exciting and seasonally-appropriate Writing study debuting November 1 by Janice Campbell. This month, let’s explore the poem “The Pumpkin” by John Greenleaf Whittier. Watch the vine grow and curl, take a close look at the colors of the fruit, and savor the smell of warm pumpkin pie with Janice’s newest unit.
