What’s New in Iowa History and Daily Writing

/ / Blog, Schoolhouse Teachers

All this month, Everyday Explorers: USA is taking families on a tour of Iowa. Come along with us as we explore the Danish Immigrant Museum, the Camp Algona POW Museum, the Buffalo Bill Museum, the Stockman House, the Sioux City Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, Matchstick Marvels, Living History Farms, and the James H. Andrew Railroad Museum & History Center. Wind through the state—and the state’s history—with us.

Kim Kautzer of WriteShop has another month of new Daily Writing prompts for you to enjoy. She will challenge us to imagine ourselves in France at the end of World War I, investigate electricity, describe a person (without using several common words), have fun with adverbs, meet a man known as “Fork-Beard,” describe a setting for a novel, take ourselves to the Olympics, and much more!
