Time to Tidy Up

/ / Blog, Schoolhouse Teachers

Whether the state of your house (or life) is a byproduct of the busyness we all face during the holidays or you just need a little help to sense some peace, SchoolhouseTeachers.com has some courses for you. Everyday Organization with Leslie Jacobs, located under the Dailies tab, is replete with tips to organize your home and life. Some tips are as simple as “Always have a bowl of fruit or nuts out instead of cookies and cakes.” Some may require a bit more time, such as “Try on all the ‘winter clothes’ and donate what doesn’t fit.” You’ll be blessed in more ways than you can imagine by following Leslie’s organizing tips. Home Economics with Heather Leach is a six-month course for elementary and middle school students. Here, they can learn about self-management such as hygiene, time management, and money management; hospitality, including food and nutrition and menu planning (the kids can help with the holidays); kitchen tools and measuring; and cooking. Your kids will benefit greatly from this class that includes ideas from Pinterest, games, worksheets, Bible verses, and so much more.
