This Week at SchoolhouseTeachers ~ What’s New in Everyday Easels and on the Monthly Discount Page

/ / Blog

Everyday Easels began this month with a study of an oil painting by Auguste Renoir called Two Young Girls at the Piano, painted in 1892. Next, we took a closer look at a work of Chinese calligraphy, Grazing Horse by Xu Beihong, created with ink on paper in 1932. We’ll round out the month with a unit study on the Statue of Liberty that will study this symbol of freedom just in time for the nation’s birthday on July 4th. Along the way, we’ll personify a piano, make some invisible ink, practice math, study art, and a whole lot more!

On our members-only discount page this month, you can grab a coupon code for 15% off a Christian Kids Explore Science product from Bright Ideas Press, get a deal from Christian Keyboarding, enjoy a discount on The Reunion by Elisha Press, and lots more.
