Charlene Johnson, homeschooling mom, former government physicist, and co-creator of our Daily Math unit, is happy to be bringing a Pre-Algebra/Algebra 1 course to SchoolhouseTeachers.com this Fall. Charlene wants students to do more than learn the facts of math—she wants students to understand why they matter, what to do with them, and how they function in real life. Join her in August for a Back to Basics unit reviewing what you already know as you prepare to build your mathematical knowledge.

Martha Candler, mom, college professor, and teacher of more than 20 years, wants her students to understand what they do in math, not simply perform actions mechanically. This can be quite a challenge when it comes to teaching trigonometry, but Martha loves it!
