Have you ever wondered the process of an apple becoming apple cider? If you have, From Apple Tree to Cider, Please will take you through the process while using rhyme to guide the story. Adorable phrases such as “… past dappled leaves and through the loud and happy apple-picking crowd.” are the bones to this story. The rhymes make the story nice to read aloud.

Julia Patton does a lovely job depicting the images which are normally seen at the apple orchard. The small details like the signs that label the trees throughout the orchard are great addition to the illustrations. Drawn with vibrant colors, in an animated fashion the pictures are bound to draw the youngest reader into the story.

This book truly reminded me of our apple orchard visiting days. It was a nice trip down memory lane from the arrival to the orchard to the exit and all the parts in between like the hay rides and the apple cider doughnuts.

I found that this adorable book made a great fit into our apple book collection. From Apple Tree to Cider, Please retails for $16.99.
