This is the first book in a series of the nutty adventures of Dr. Peanut. Dr. Peanut is a nut-sized peanut who wanders out into the world to meet the giants called "humans." He says, "Nutty to meet you!" because he speaks Pinglish. His job is to look after the medical needs of the other Talking Peanut children. In other words, he is a Peanutrician!

His life does keep him quite busy, but on occasion he goes among the humans, always in disguise in order to avoid injury. You might find him hidden under a fallen leaf or disguised as an ant--you never know!

If you do happen to find him, you'll have to listen very carefully to hear his little voice. That is, until his two new giant friends come up with a way to hear him better. I won't tell you how here, but I will tell you it provides a way for him to introduce his new giant friends to his little world.

This story is plain pea-nutty fun, and I look forward to Dr. Peanut's further adventures.
