Never Too Late for Great Literature

/ / Blog, Schoolhouse Teachers

As summer winds down, so do many summer reading programs. Whether your child has read a little or a lot, there is no reason to stop reading great literature. Adam Andrews’ Literature class will be enjoying Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C.S. Lewis during the month of August. The schedule for the fall includes such greats as Odyssey, The Silver Chair, The Horse and His Boy, The Magician’s Nephew, The Last Battle, and Macbeth. Written by William Shakespeare, Macbeth is quite a story of intrigue. If your student enjoys reading works by Shakespeare, join us for The Tempest in Simply Shakespeare, located under the Dailies tab. Not only will students learn about the different themes of this work, but they will be able to put on their own performance.
