Math is Meaningful

/ / Blog, Schoolhouse Teachers

Some kids love math. Some don’t. If you struggle with teaching your reluctant learner, SchoolhouseTeachers.com has some options for you. Daily Math, located under the Dailies tab, is a simple daily lesson that can be used as a diversion from the normal math lesson—a chance for a short break from regular lessons. Elementary Math with Dr. Peter Price is an excellent option for younger students. Dr. Price has helped many students with their multiplication, which is one of the most difficult topics for elementary children. Perhaps you have an older student who has gone beyond your ability to teach. That’s okay, too, because there are options for you as well. Trigonometry with Martha Candler discusses angles, sine and cosine, graphing, working with identities, trigonometric equations, etc. If you were confused by any of that and your child is ready for Trigonometry, consider allowing SchoolhouseTeachers.com to be your child’s math teacher. Statistics with Kathy Lapan provides a choice that diverts from the normal course of mathematics. Statistics is a great option for those who might be going into a science field or those who don’t want to venture into the realm of calculus during their junior or senior year.
