Parents know that managing a household is harder than we thought it would when we were children. Many different skills play a role in the smooth functioning of any home. Home Economics with Heather Leach will help elementary students begin to understand some of those skills, beginning with the growth of the whole person. Through the 23 available lessons, students will learn about personal appearance and hygiene and work through the roles in a household, managing money, hospitality, food, nutrition, and cooking. Worksheets are included, as well as activities and enrichment resources. Everyday Organization with Leslie Jacobs is helpful for those of us who have a bit too much chaos in our homes. Leslie has provided 116 organizational tips that can assist us in simplifying our homes and lives.
