Unfortunately, most people don’t know what is written in the Constitution. We know those amendments that are the focus of news stories, but we know so very little of the rest of it. Through SchoolhouseTeachers.com, high school students can gain an understanding of the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Attorney Kevin Mark Smith will be providing 16 weeks’ worth of lessons during which he will be discussing what our Founding Fathers intended when they wrote the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Students will do some independent study, write term papers, and take exams. If, after taking this course, you think you’d like to speak up for our Constitution and share what it says, consider taking Public Speaking with Rebekah Bell. Middle school and high school students will learn about different types of speeches: expository, impromptu, informative, and interpretive. They will also learn how to make their speeches memorable.
