Growing and Preserving

/ / Blog, Schoolhouse Teachers

SchoolhouseTeachers.com has some amazing classes for preschoolers, not just older students. One of these classes is Homegrown Preschooler with Kathy Lee and Lesli Richards. Although this is a class that has already finished, all of its lessons are accessible. There are seven separate units, each with a theme and a character trait. As we will soon be heading into the fall and then winter, you can follow along with the lessons that include a wide variety of activities that encourage development and allow your preschooler to have fun. Homesteading with Lisa Barthuly will teach us how to preserve our food. If you missed Lisa’s July lessons, you’ll want to read through them. She taught us how to make homemade granola, build a rocket stove, put together a first aid kit, and create our own food dehydrator.
