Do You See What I See?

/ / Blog, Schoolhouse Teachers

Our own perspective allows us to see things differently than others might see them. This is one of the things that makes us unique. Many of the classes offered at SchoolhouseTeachers.com allow students to express their uniqueness and their creativity. Studio Art for Teens with Sharon Jeffus provides students an opportunity to create various art projects such as frames, landscapes, illuminated text, and much more. The archived lessons are available, each with several projects to try. So, jump in with whichever project sounds like the most fun. Charlotte Mason Preschool with Brittney Jordan encourages children to enjoy nature and look at the beautiful flowers. They can practice their numbers by counting the flowers and then enjoy a craft. Everyday Easels in the Dailies section continues with a unit study related to the painting, Esther before Ahasuerus by Pompeo Girolamo Batoni. The next study will be on M.C. Escher’s Waterfall. This is a work of art that definitely challenges your perspective!
