Many of us thrive on challenge, whether it be challenging ourselves or competing against someone else. The newest challenge for you on SchoolhouseTeachers.com is the weekly Photography Challenge with Michele Peterson. Perhaps you have a son or daughter who previously enjoyed Michele’s thirty-week Photography course (or maybe you took it yourself). Well, Michele has returned with a weekly Photography Challenge to stretch your student’s photography skills and creativity. Each Monday will feature a new challenge, followed by a reminder each Wednesday that will include tips if your student is stuck trying to complete the challenge. How about the challenge of walking in the woods or braving the cold? Daily Discoveries with Yvonne Blake will be discussing the layers of the forest and teaching us about some of the plants, animals, and insects that call the forest home through photos, videos, math, writing, and more. But don’t worry if you can’t get outside, all of the activities can still be completed if you stay indoors.
