We have an opportunity to support some fellow homeschooling families who have produced a movie—HERO—starring Burgess Jenkins (Remember the Titans) as Little League coach Joe Finn, whose past choices leave him with little but broken relationships—particularly with his son. Joe starts a father-son baseball league that requires participation of the dads in an effort to win back his son and reunite his players with their own all-too-absent fathers. Given only half a season to produce a winning team, Joe’s endeavors begin to affect everything from his own heart, to local prison inmates, to fathers and sons in neighboring towns.

This movie will be available at Wal-Mart on September 16. It will be pulled off the shelf the following week if sales are too low. Let’s help to make this dream a reality. Let’s use our influence to keep this movie on the shelves for families who may benefit from the message within it.
