No matter what we do, a solid foundation is key to success. Beginning Violin with Nancy Blue, violin teacher and professional violinist, instructs students how to buy a violin and take care of it; tune it, hold it, and play it, beginning with scales and simple songs. Nancy’s lessons also instill a solid foundation in faith with the music the student is learning. The 31 lessons in this course are video based with downloadable music sheets. Classical Archaeology with Regan Barr, archaeologist, educator, author, and homeschool parent, studies the ancient world from a Biblical perspective. This biblical foundation is the key to helping middle and high school students to understand the events that took place, events like the riot in Ephesus, the original Olympics, and Pompeii. Students will also study significant architecture of the time period. Printable lessons include links to numerous additional online resources and Regan’s personal photos. There are five individual units covering seventeen weeks.
