A Moment with The Homeschool Minute ~ The Familyman – Todd Wilson, Familyman Ministries

There is no way that Thanksgiving is next week!!! That can only mean that . . . that . . . that Christmas isn’t far behind. Aaaauuugggggg!!!!!

OK, take a deep breath. You can do it. BE CALM AND ENJOY THE HOLIDAYS.

Today, we got out the Thanksgiving Jar where we place little slips of paper into with the things we’re thankful for written on them. That was easy. The hard part is not to put things off to the last moment. For example, right after Thanksgiving we start our weekly Family Advent Nights. During the time, we make a little craft, read a portion of Scripture, light an advent candle, read a Christmas story, and have a little snack while sipping sparkling grape juice. That takes a little planning, but it is one of my children’s favorite Christmas activities.

To a busy homeschool mom that can sound a little overwhelming, but we at Familyman Ministries have put the CALM in Christmas (I’ve now transitioned seamlessly into a commercial).
