OK, so if you've never seen Hexabits before, you are saying to yourself, "Just what is a Hexabit?" Hexabits are 6-sided flexible building tiles with a unique interlocking design that slide together to create just about anything your imagination can come up with! The linking method used to put them together develops fine motor skills and dexterity. The colorful, flexible pieces make them entertaining and make learning fun!

Our family reviewed the "Mini Mix", which is 250 pieces of Hexabits, in a variety of colors! These came with design instructions for various patterns. We've made flower designs into keychains, colorful pencil holders, even balls, window designs to hang with a suction cup hook, and even bracelets The neat thing with Hexabits is you can make a design and keep it or take it back apart to re-use over and over again! My children have had great fun with Hexabits, the designs are endless and so is the creativity!

Hexabits easily integrate into any learning environment, and the Hexabits Corporation even creates lesson plans for us to integrate them into our lessons for science, math, language arts, and social studies. Check out their website for more information on lesson plans, design ideas, and all the different activity kits available.
