When I first saw the Fischertechnic Fire Fighter box, it looked very easy compared to my Lego sets. I opened the box and started to put it together. It was harder than it looked, but I was able to do it on my own. It has a working pump that squirts water about five yards and a steering wheel that really turns the wheels. My dad thought it was extremely well-made and played with it, squirting my sister and brothers.
(A note from Elijah's mom: He is kind of picky about toys, but he was very impressed by this one. This is a great little set that introduced our family to Fischertechnik. Being Lego devotees, we were a bit skeptical of this unfamiliar product. What a pleasant surprise to find another high quality toy, and one that feeds the engineering minds of our children.)
