My husband calls it "The Lennon Sisters do Bluegrass". It's the Peasall Sisters' new album, "Home To You." What a treat! If you were a fan of these young musical sisters a few years ago, you will love to hear them now.

Sarah, Hannah, and Leah Peasall are the oldest of six home-schooled children from Tennessee. The trio began performing together at a young age in churches and nursing homes. The precious little girls charmed their audiences everywhere. Now Sarah, Hannah and Leah are best known for their work in the movie "O Brother Where Art Thou", singing an adorable rendition of the Carter Family classic, "In the Highways". Earning Grammy and CMA awards, they soon were invited to perform at Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, and the Grand Ole Opry.

The Album, "Home To You", showcases the girls' beautifully maturing voices. Now, at ages 18, 14, and 12, the Peasall Sisters sound every bit like Grammy winners. In fact, they sound like they could be Bluegrass legends of yesteryear. I think this is in part influenced by the fine musicians on this album, and by its producer, John Carter Cash, son of the late Johnny Cash.

Several old favorite songs are featured, such as "I Never Will Marry", "Freight Train Blues", and "Rushing Around". Also included are some traditional songs, "Fair and Tender Ladies", "The Old Account" and "Carrick Fergus". It is most exciting, however, to hear original songs written by the Peasalls, three of which are presented on this new album. If you enjoy Bluegrass music, you will love the Peasall Sisters' album, "Home To You". And I'm sure you will be proud of these talented homeschoolers!
