Joovy’s Caboose Ultralight Stand-On Tandem Stroller is lightweight at 21 pounds making it very maneuverable and easy to use. The stroller is very simple to put together. Included with the Caboose Ultralight is a Universal Car Seat Adapter, a removable snack tray and a parent organizer. The minimum age limit for the front seat is 3 months. If you are using the Car Seat Adapter the front seat’s minimum age limit is 0 months. The maximum weight limit is 45 pounds whether you are using the Car Seat Adapter or not. Keep in mind that the stroller’s total maximum weight limit is 90 pounds and you should only carry two children at the same time. The Caboose Ultralight is available in these five colors: Blueberry, Orangie, Greenie, Brownie and Black.

The Caboose Too Rear Seat is a new accessory that turns your Caboose Ultralight Stand-On Stroller into a compact double stroller. This is a great feature for those with two kids close in age. With the Caboose Too Rear Seat accessory the bench seat of the Caboose Ultralight stroller converts into a full seat in just a few easy steps. The maximum weight limit for the Caboose Too is 45 pounds. The minimum age limit for the Caboose Too is 6 months. When your child is ready for a little more independence the seat can be easily removed to make the Caboose Ultralight a Stand-On stroller again. The Caboose Too Rear Seat is available in four colors: Orangie, Greenie, Blueberry and Black.

I especially like having the Caboose Too Rear Seat because my children are close in age. I have a 2 month old, a 2 year old, a 4 year old and a 7 year old. The Caboose Ultralight stroller has been used by all four of my children at one time or another. The Caboose Too is handy when I am out running errands without my husband because I am able to have the youngest two ride safely and I don’t have to worry about my 2 year old escaping like he would if the stroller was in the Stand-On mode.  On outings where my husband was with us we enjoyed using the stroller without the Caboose Too. With the baby in a baby carrier and the two year old in the front seat of the Ultralight it gave the oldest two the option to sit or stand when they got too tired of walking.

The canopy on the Caboose Ultralight is great but when using the Caboose Too accessory the canopy cannot shield both children. It would be nice if the Caboose Too came with its own canopy. The bench seat of the Caboose Ultralight is supposed to move back so that the Caboose Too can rest on it. I found that the bench seat would slowly move forward leaving the Caboose Too suspended without any support. It would be helpful if the bench seat could lock into place when using the Caboose Too to insure proper support.

I would recommend the Caboose Ultralight Stroller and the Caboose Too Rear Seat. This stroller combination is great for any growing family. The options are endless with the Caboose Ultralight and Caboose Too accessory. Whether you have an infant and a toddler, two toddlers, a baby and an older child or any number of scenarios you’ll find the Ultralight and the Caboose Too accessory very accommodating.
