See Me Run is a high-energy picture book for beginning readers. The story follows a dog and his friends as they go about their daily activities, such as running, getting muddy, playing in the water, and digging. However, the digging gets them into trouble when they unearth a dinosaur skeleton, which comes to life and begins to chase them.
If you have a beginning reader on your hands, this is a great book for you. The illustrations are delightful and engaging, and the sentences are short. At $14.95, it is a little bit expensive for a beginning reader. However, if you have a dog lover it will be read again and again, and the hardcover will hold up to these repeated readings.
