Murbles Outdoor Sports Game Review by Christine Hindle

Our Murbles Game consisted of a canvas bag containing 3 red balls, 3 blue balls, and a yellow ball. The game is played outside. First, the yellow ball is thrown out onto the yard; then the players throw their set of balls toward that ball, and the ones that land closest to it score the highest. Only the top 3 balls score, and the player with the most of those gets to start the next round. The game instructions are printed on the side of the canvas bag.

Murbles is loosely based on the European game of Bocce, according to the Murbles website, and they describe the balls as "high-density 3 inch diameter solid plastic balls made with recycled material." The website also says they have a lot of colors to choose from, so you can choose your favorite sports team's colors or family favorites for your Murbles balls if you desire.

We celebrated the Independence Day holiday on July 4 with neighbors and took this game along. Much enjoyment was had playing this game in the backyard that afternoon. This would be a great addition to any family's game collection. It is a great outdoor game that just about any age can enjoy.
