Little Blessings has produced another delightful book to engage preschoolers ages 3 to 6. The characters are the same as found in so many other Little Blessing books, but the story is unique. This book starts out with children asking God how He created everything. God responds to these questions by telling the story of Creation using simple rhymes with just two sentences per page. At first I thought this book might be a little too simple, but I was surprised to find even my five-year-old asking to read it over and over again! Something about the book's simplicity draws young readers in and makes God's truth easy to grasp and hold in their hearts. The pictures are colorful and inviting, providing lots of excellent interaction with young listeners!

The back of the book contains a Bible Reference section that lists the text from each page along with associated Scriptures to help children understand that the words in the poem are based on the Bible. I always appreciate books that encourage parents to read the Bible to little ones; however, it might have been nice to have the Scripture references on the actual pages of the text. Although having the list in the back of the book is certainly helpful, it can be difficult to hold young children's attention while flipping back and forth.

Who Made the World? is certainly a huge hit in our home! The kids obviously don't mind the formatting of Scripture references in the back of the book, and this is only a minor inconvenience for adult readers. I would certainly recommend this book for families with young children, and I'm sure adults will enjoy its charm as well!
