Bible Prophecy for Kids is part of "The Discover 4 Yourself Inductive Bible Studies for Kids" series by Kay Arthur and Janna Arndt. This is a hands-on book that will help children learn basic Bible study skills. This particular book is a study of Revelation 1-7. Children who do this study will come away knowing "what heaven is like, what God says to some special churches (and to US!), what exciting things are going to happen in the future, and what the fantastic rewards of knowing Jesus are!"

A specific age range for this book is not included. I would recommend it for upper elementary-aged children (3rd - 6th grade). The premise of the study is that the reader is a detective of sorts, working closely with the characters in the book to solve the "mystery" of the book of Revelation. The book is set up to be a five-week study, with each week broken into five daily lessons. These lessons include Bible reading, fun discoveries, challenging puzzles, and lots of hands-on activities. Though not written specifically for homeschoolers, the approach of this book is perfect for any homeschooled child who is interested in "digging deeper" into Scripture.

All that is needed to complete this study is a Bible (the authors recommend the New American Standard Bible), a pen or pencil, colored pencils, index cards, and a dictionary (all things every homeschooler has on hand already!) I think this study guide is well worth the price, and I will definitely be purchasing other books from this series.

If you have an upper elementary-aged student who is interested in an in-depth Bible study on the book of Revelation and enjoys fun, hands-on activities, then I would highly recommend Bible Prophecy for Kids.
